Online course “Empathic listening: listening, not interrupting”

I always thought I could listen. But after the course, I realized that I was just waiting for my turn to speak. Now I can really hear my husband. We have fewer quarrels and more confidential conversations.

My wife used to say all the time: “You can’t hear me.” I was angry. And on the course, I realized that she was right. Now I’m using techniques from training — and honestly, it worked! Our dialogues have become calmer and warmer.

The guy and I often argued, interrupting each other. The course provided simple exercises on how to listen to the end. It really changes everything: now I feel like he hears me, and he feels like I respect him.

The course taught me not to react immediately, but to listen first. Sometimes it’s difficult, but the effect is amazing — the tension goes away. We started discussing even difficult topics without scandals.

Empathic listening is generally an opening! I noticed that even the children began to share with me more often, because now I listen to them differently. And the dialogues with my husband have become much warmer.
